I have a weird issue that I cannot figure out. We are using Sharepoint 2010 mysites and user profiles; this is all working just fine. My issue is the links WITHIN the user profiles, when click on they do not work. For example, within the profile there is a First Name property, mine is populated from AD with the name ‘Chris’ which is correct. But when you click on the word ‘Chris’ it takes you to an invalid URL.
The URL you are taken to when you click on any link within the profile looks something like:
http://hhportal.domain.com/hhsearch/Pages/peopleresults.aspx/http://hhportal.domain.com/hhsearch/Pages/peopleres.aspx?k="Chris"
As you can see, this is a double link, which will not work. If I delete the first part of this link then it will work, so its sort of correct. Why is this happening? Where is it getting this information from?
Any ideas?
