I want to set up incoming email in a 2010 SharePoint Foundation and connect it to the 2010 Microsoft Exchange. I know after you make a document library you can create and email address for that document library for incoming email.
1. Can someone explain to me any limitations that SharePoint 2010 might have in the number of incoming email items (mail messages) that a mail-enabled site might have,
2. What if you have two items that are the same will there be an error.
3. Central administration there is a distribution group, will that be something I will need to use with incoming email, and if so can someone please explain more in-depth about that and how it can affect the exchange.
The person that is running the 2010 Exchange server is also wondering what kind of permissions that 2010 SharePoint will need from exchange, the exchange person would like to limit the amount of permissions to SharePoint.
