Can I control who can check in and check out a document in SharePoint 2010?
I have a document I only want a few persons to check in or out.
Presently, I have over 100 persons who, in order to just view the document, need to check it out. So if someone forgets to check it back in, it is checked out. I can over ride as an admin for the SharePoint site, but this is time consuming as this prevents others from editing the document if it is checked out.
