file upload control , on click browse will open choose file to upload dialog , referring to desktop files or some local path files

Thanks in advance..

My doubt is can we set some custom fixed paths/configurable paths.

By Default in sharepoint 2010 opens a choose file to upload dialog which by default shows search Desktop. 

Can I set some local path/directory and in file type dropdown can we set to pdf only

Pls let me know..
