I have a video being streamed from Windows Media Services. I created a code to embed it in a SharePoint website as the following:
<asx version = "3.0">
<entry>
<ref href ="-"/>
<Title>-</Title>
<Author>-</Author>
<Copyright>-l</Copyright>
</entry>
</asx>
The media server is hosted in a public DMZ zone for the public users to see the video but internal users in our domain cannot see the video (Only working with VLC player!) I have verified ports are opened and no firewall nor policies blocking the streaming. I'm thinking if there is a way to have a code pointing to two servers I.E one for the public users pointing to the server in the DMZ zone and another pointer (Refrence) to a Windows Media Services in the internal domain. This solution can also reduce overload on the public DMZ server but I'm not sure if it can happen.
Any other solution will also be appreciated. I just wonder why the streaming works with VLC and not Windows Media Player..!

Khalid
